Glampology tents are the fusion of centuries-old design concepts using modern day materials and technology to create a unique product mixing comfort with style.

The bell tent design has been around for centuries. A robust design developed by the Native Americans, initially using animal hides and sticks to build a cone-like dwelling.

Over the years, other cultures have seen the benefit of the design, which was proven to be warm in winter, cool in summer and resistant to heavy rain. Even back then, they were quick to disassemble and pack up for a quick exit.

In the 1800’s Bell tents evolved with westerners using canvas as the main material, and using a single centre pole to support the structure.

We’ve taken it one step further and have made Glampology tents in Poly-Cotton, designed specifically for New Zealand conditions.

But what’s more, we’ve also taken style into account and have created a product that combines form and functionality as well as looking impressive. 

We also offer lightweight portable wood stoves / BBQ’s with water heaters that are designed to be used outdoors on their own or in our tents.
